  9. Dear MacAppers--
  10.     Can anyone point out to me the "proper" way to cause a MA app to have ONLY
  11. ONE DOCUMENT open at a time?  I either want to disable File/New and File/Open
  12. when a doc is already open or auto-close the first (open) doc when the user
  13. opens a second.  Which behavior is preferred in a well-mannered Mac app?  Which
  14. methods should I OVERRIDE?  I've looked for sample code doing this, but no
  15. luck.  Please send any recommends to PHS...Thanks much......Ed Schwartz
